TK CAMPCRAFT # 1.. WE ARE #1
aha... now let me update u on the ytd... the memorable day[25/o3/o6] events... the day will keep playing in my heart forever & ever... =))
woke up at 04.50am... bathed ate breakfast & went down to the taxi stand to wait for qi hao's parent to cum sen us to skul.. reached skul ard 05.55am like dat.. everyone waiting at the gate there...wen to prepare the equipments slowly... admiring the nite sky... & we did our last trial... our last trial was good... and after dat.. we all quickly rushed up e bus le... on e wae there... our instructors briefed us one last tym... reached PA le... we went to the carpark area dere & did our last cheers b4 the com start... sir kel wished us all the best.. & we are already e professional... & we will do a good last one..while he said dat.. he cried le... we shouted our "TK CAMPCRAFT #1... WE ARE #1".. b4 we proceeded to our reporting area... the guys at the swimming pool dere.. the gals at e gym there... we saw e boys walked out of their reportin area.. getting ready for their com... in my heart... i wished them all the very best. =)).. while waiting, we all talked abt mr teo & mdm sonia yeo... talked & laughed like hell.. and u noe wad we got for our 4th component??.. we were supposed to construct a shoe rack!!... aha.. we were so happy when we saw that..
the long horn blast sounded... the com had started... one long horn blast again... & our 16mins com haf ended... things wasn't really on our side... the flagstaff intersection nt straight at all... no tension at all.. & e shelter aso got prob.. hazi twine entangled.. gyn lashings snapped 2 tym.. square lashings snapped too... 3 ponchos gt holes... immediately our e com ended... me broke down on e floor & cried... during judging... we were all very sad... we dun dare to look at the boys... sir kel.. ma'am vivien..
after judging.. all the boys & girls team sat in front for e prize giving ceremony... they announced the guys 1st... & when by top 5.. tk name was still not called.. we were all so nervous=)).. top 3.. still not called... by tis time.. it's either jurong west or tk would be the champion for the 2oo6 cc com... and they annocunced... the champion was " TANJONG KATONG SECONDARY SCHOOL"... WE SCREAMED.. SHOUTED... CHEERED... & CHEERED OUR TK CC #1 CHEERS.. the gals all got ready to jump up le... the guys were so happy la.. they jumped too.. some cried too... hugged each other... haha... me & emmi hugged each other when we heard the results... sir kel cried too.. haha... during the whole thingy.. we kept looking at sir expression.. the type of face he gave when they announcing from 10th to the 1st...lol.. so funny.. & HAPPY.. & nw it's the gals turn... when they announced the 9th position.. we were so happy cuz we had break the trend of adding the guys & gals position of 10... top 5...tk name still not called... we were happy dat we are in top 5.. when they announced the 4th position.. they announced "TANJONG KATONG.... SEC"... haiz.. we were all so sad... when we received our prize.. we all looked so gloomy... during photos taking.. we all din smile.. when we sat back.. we all broke into tears... i was so sad... i tink i had pull e whole team.. cried till like hell..[now tink of it..still so sad].. almost the whole gals team cried except ling & fang li i tink.. they came to console us.. sir ma'am CIs.. consoled me.. sir kel asked me nt to be sad.. he said the competition was really very tough for e gals.. & he said we did well for e last tym.. & we had put in our very utmost effort...
we took lots of photos... [will upload here once i get them]...wif our trophies... & the guys CHAMPION TROPHY... aha.. so nice la.. i hope e gals team can get it too.. i tink we juz missed one step to e 3rd position.. i dun tink north vista can win us la.. my god.. i really juz wish for top 3.. bt we juz missed it by a bit... nvm... everything it's already fixed.. cant change le.. we went up e bus... sir & ma'am congrats us.. me held the big trophy all e wae to e skul...
once we reached skul.. everyone ran to the middle of e assembly plaza. .. put all our trophies there & e big one in the middle.. & cheered loud loud.. haha... after dat.. we went outside 4a classrm to telk wif sir & ma'am for e last tym.. i'm so happy sir & ma'am will miss us.. sir desmond so nice la.. he bought ice cream & drinks for us.. den we were supposed to say wad had we learn from cc... LH confessed his love for zhiling.. haha... we all cheered.. we all so sad dat cc ends le.. it's the end of e chapter le.. we took numerous photos b4 we all wen off.. took photos wif sir & ma'am too.. haha... I'M WAITING FOR ALL THE PHOTOS!!!!!!!!.. HAHA...
me huan fz gav hao & wei wen parkway to eat ajisen.. we saw sir they all at yoshinoya.. haha.. den we decided to buy them presents.. me & hao bought a card for him.. thanking him for giving us tuition.. one card... we tok abt lots of craps... haha.. we bought presents too for them... haha...
den we went to eat ajisen.. tok tok tok.. laugh laugh laugh... & wen home cuz we me hao & wei gg to seoul garden to celebrate wif them at nite.. haha... when we walking to e busstop. .. there got one small road la.. den i nv c got car not i juz cross e road liao.. den qi hao pulled me back... haha.. he saved my life.. =)).. gavin saw everything.. den he asked qi hao y nv go grabbed e hand.. den i tink qi hao replied i too short or sth or too far le.. haha... wadeva la.. lol... went up e bus.. fz slp.. so me & qi hao tok lor.. tok abt life aftet cc.. den i asked him whether will we still go home together nt.. haha.. wen home bathed & then quickly rushed to meet qi hao at farrer park to go TM to celebrate le.. he wears so formal la.. haha.. so cute.. nt like e normal qi hao sia..=))..
e whole gals was there except for fz & huan.. lol.. den boys got lh hao dex mel wei ting & zong.. haha.. me sat at e boys table.. lol.. dey cooked for me.. .haha.. so fulled la.. eat so many things.. den we took lots of photos too =)..den wen home... haha.. end of story...
haiz.. cc ends le.. feel so empty now.. like no aim like dat.. last tym after lessons will look forward to cc trainings.. nw leh.. is go home.. haiz.. i dunno how i can adapt to dat life.. i learnt lots of things from cc.. we all became most close together.. we overcame pain.. obstacles.. setbacks.. scoldings.. tough trainings.. rain.. haha.. we became more bonded 2gether.. i enjoyed tis kind of life.. altot sumtym i cant catch up.. becuz of tis com.. we trained for 9 mths.. made 200+ flagstaff.. 400+ plus hrs.. for juz a 16mins com.. if things can rewind.. i rather dun wan com.. i oni wan trainings.. =((.. i also learnt dat in life.. no matter whether u win or lose.. most importantly.. is to be happy wif wad u haf done.. put in ur best efforts & u will get ur results..

"But actually the position dosn't really matter.. its the learning process that matters.. the competition is 16 minutes.. the trainings add up to 416++ hours.. which one is more important? which one we learn more? which one is more memorable? different ppl have different answers to this, but my answer is that it is the training that matters.. We gained our skills from the training.. we learnt more about ourselves from the training.. we learnt more about others from the training.. we become more bonded from the training too.. the position the just our common target to march towards to.. other than that, it is redundant.. the throphy will rust and thrown away sooner of later.. but the things we learnt and gained will be at the bottom of our heart forever..
So what have i learnt? A lot of things! so many that i were to type all, it will take a few days.. so i shall summarise.. firstly i learnt a lot of values, like in order to succeed in anything, u must most importantly, have the passion and committment.. there are many more, which i dunno how to express or lazy type.. secondly, i developed social skills, become closer with everybody in the campcraft team, know more about everybody personalities and interest.. thirdly, and most importantly, i said during the debrief le.. shall not say here.. haha.. but i finally said what i wanted to say for so long le.. took so much courage to say that in front of everybody.. come to think of it, it's not that hard.. but my bravery has level up le.. haha.. thanks to campcraft.. that is the last thing campcraft competition 2006 taught me..what will campcraft competition 2008 bring?OH NO! blog until going to be late for the celebration le.. haha!Girls 4th Boys 1st CHAMPION!Tk campcraft no.1 We are always no.1!New milestone set.. "TO THE CAMPCRAFT TEAM!![[we've strived to do the best that we could do..the best that we were capable of..and we've pulled through..so many trainings..so many trials..so much money!!..=)..not ours so who cares!!..well..its been a long time that we've spent together..staying back with each other practically everyday..we worked hard and dont ever ever even for a nanosecond ever think that you've not done enough for the team cause each and everyone of you has..dont ever think that just cause you werent teh champions meant that all the hard work you've put in been've a waste of time..cause it isnt..cause at the end of the day..its really not a matter of how high you were ranked..it doesnt matter how many freaking trophies you get or even how big teh trophy is..((actually im happy to get my trophy..if i had gotten teh boys one right..cannot fit in my cupboard..too big ready liao))..its really about the things you picked up along teh way..friends skills..a lasting realtionship..((and im not hinting anything!!))..cause at the end of the day..we've done our best and this is what we got for all that hard work..dont ever be pushed down by words..dont ever be influenced by ppl who bring you down..cause after it all..it really comes down to yourself..if you know you've done all that you could..then its ok..be contented..ok guys..and girls..=))!!..so yeah..i just wanna say..after all this..there'll be no more campcraft trainings ever..zip..we've worked togetehr for so long and we achieved this much..im glad i got to share this experience with this bunch of cool crappy ppl..I LOVE Y'ALL!!!]]so yeah..we got to teh finish line in 4th and 1st positions..we ought to be proud of us..and remember assembly on monday ok..we're gonna shout 1, 2, 3 and we're gonna cheer..TK CAMPCRAFT NUMBER 1!!..WE ARE NUMBER 1!!..YEAH!!.."
ya..right here.. i wan to thanks SIR KELVYN MA'AM VIVIEN & MA'AM JAMIE for bringin us to tis step... u haf guided us along for tis 9mths.. not oni haf i learnt lots of cc skills.. but aso lots of social skills dat we will nid it in the future.. learnt wad is leadership.. unity.. teamwork.. & the ways to solve all the prob dat we faced.. prob solving.. critcial tinking.. haha.. ya.. i thx them lots.. i cant wait to c them again.. we gonna gif them a trophy.. & presents too =))... u guys rawks my world...
