today was a hell lots of nonsense day..
had geomatics prac in the morning.
among the bushes!
SO MANY MOZZIE!
so many things blocking our sight.
when we set up the instru at this place, we can see the TBM, but not the 1st staff reading.
we then changed our position of our instru. this time round we can see the 1st staff reading BUT the TBM BLOCKED BY THAT DAMN GREEN wall!
wah piang! was damn pek chek that time.
cuz we DUN WAN TO BE THE LAST GRP TO FINISH!
we are always the last to finish our geo le.. since last yr.. HAHA!
we are CURSED!
i LOVE MR FOO! cuz he helped us to set up our instru properly at the correct place.
helped us did a few readings. after that everything went smoothly le :D
machiam like COMPETITION.

i feel happier now.
cuz i feel so myself when im wif them.

went for wws volunteering today.
ailing zy rinsee and ME decided to join as volunteer last week.
last week was biking along s'pore river le.
biking was fun! :D but i hate going up and down the bike when we passed thru the tunnel.

so today was boating! =)
i love boating le.
get to enjoy the sea breeze and at the same time do some community service =)
it's really meaningful.
so PPL! DO NOT THROW UR LITTERS ON THE FLOOR!
CUZ IN THE END IT WILL LAND UP IN OUR WATER CATCHMENT AREA.

went beach road to eat with them after that.

went to help out for the FOP orientation for the DEWT and DCEM freshies.
im like so disappointed with the boys. they are like.. OMG! so SHORT!
and it's like.. what sir kel always said "gu niang".. SERIOUS LA!
im so lucky that im born in the 1990. if not, im gonna be a nun!
LOL.
the girls are more hyper than the guys.
was hellish tired la. played with them. me sharon edwin was getting high ourselves instead.
HOHOHO.
amazing race, was stationed at stat 1 with the direct entry girl.
her name is Pei Zhi. [pZ also :( ] and she's from DEWT 01 too!
whoa! she damn hyper. talked alot too.
so i slacked all the way and let her do the talkings .. HEHE

went to watch street's king with bfbf after that.
i got SO AMUSED BY THE MOVIE becuz of the language.
haha!.. it's like so "f**king" funny la.
f**king is like our fullstop. haha!

TK CAMPCRAFT #1 WE ARE ALWAYS # 1 !! =]
and the CHAMPION for the 2oo8 campcraft competiton goes to TANJONG KATONG SEC SCH!!
and so TK NPCC once again clinched a CHAMPION TROPHY back!
it's the GIRLS' TEAM this time round.
the guys were in the 5th position. altho i DID NOT EXPECT THAT and I HAD EXPECTED THEM to be at least in the TOP 3. but nvm, the guys HAD ALREADY DONE THEIR BEST, PUT IN THEIR BEST EFFORTS! at least their efforts were proved not futile ;)

on the 5th april 2oo8, batches of cc teams went to HTA to see the cc finals.
amazingly i was not as nervous when i was watching the whole competition as compared to when i was watching the boys' prelims.
we ( nif fz dex hock ) were having our own lil party over there.
the guys got so HIGH creating a song for ZONG YaO!
haha!.. zong zong zong zong zong zong zong zong ~~~ (say it in a very HIP HOP way)
HAHA!
their newly designed structure was so WOW.. so BIG SO SPACIOUS!
it's juz so nice when u looked from the back!

we got so emotional when they were announcing the results.
WE SCREAMED AND CHEERED when we knew we were the CHAMPION.
we BEAT the nanyang girls! like FINALLY!!

memories started to flood through my mind when i see how elated the juniors were.
the tears of joy they shed, the trainings they went through, the obstacles they met along the way.
i went through it all too.
the passion for campcraft. the feel of the flagpole and the ropes. the smell of the grass.
im really missing it now.
i rmb i felt so empty once cc ended.
it had already been part of my life. imprinted in my heart deeply.

back to tk for cc celebration. BUFFET!! haha!
the CAKE WAS OMG SO DELICIOUS! yumyum ;)
we were like so crazy when we were in the audi, switching off all the lights, singing playing!

and yeah! i met bfbf today :D
went sch to reformat lappy b4 gg to je lib to watch movies.
watched 28 weeks later and an inconvenient truth.
i find 28 weeks nt bad la. all the living zombie. bloody scenes.
HAHA!. pz is sadist!

hey ppl! you guys should watch an inconvenient truth.
it's a documentary. it's abt GLOBAL WARMING!
WE SHOULD REALLY START DOING OUR PART TO REDUCE GLOBAL WARMING.
some places on this earth are getting colder.. while some places are getting hotter.
doughts. floods. hurricanes. typhoons. melting of icecaps. glacial retreats. rising sea level. deforestation. tornados.
the increase emission of CO2 is definately causing our mother earth's temp to rise.
im sure all of us know clearly what are the undesirable consequences of global warming.
soon we will reach another ice age soon.

can you imagine yourself dying because of heat wave?

look at the amount of glaciers that have retreated.

so why do they go?

soon we will be living underwater.

we have to try to stop this!

i dunno why am i so fascinated by penguins all of a sudden.

i find them so CUTE! so ADORABLE! so huggable!

the way they waddle. their flippers by the side.

i should have done my OC presentation on penguins instead of pigs. oink oink!

hahaa!

"Penguins seem to have no special fear of humans and have approached groups of explorers without hesitation."

yeah!! means i can go closer to them to hug them!!

but there's also a group of penguins known as the Isabelline Penguins.

they are born with brown plumage instead of black.

and it's so sad that they tend to live shorter lives than normal penguins cuz they are not well camouflaged against the deep, and are often passed over as mates. =((

anyway when i grow up and earned enough money,i want to go to Boulders Beach in South Africa to SEE PENGUINS ;) i can get close to them as close as 1m!!! =D=D=D
imagine u can swim with them..
